it finally snowed. i don't think we have seen any on the ground for a couple of years. kids got an extra day off; i had to work anyways. i was restless and bored, but it was lovely. it will probably be gone by tomorrow.

[whining] I wish it would snow like that here! It was 70 degrees F just a couple days ago here in VA! Really, that's unseasonably warm for VA and we usually get a little snow in January or February. But I don't know about this year. Maybe we'll get some. It finally got cold here yesterday. It started at about 65 degree at 7am and by the afternoon it was in the 40's! Today the high is supposed to be 38 degrees, yipee! I'm ready for some cold weather. Have a great day!

Hiya "raven" here on my other alias, just too danged lazy to change it... have you seen this video?

I have a friend in Oregon who is also a photographer, and seeing both you and she post pics made me soooo homesick! I'm from upstate NY and living in southern CA.. no snow here. But hot dangit, emma's kat, been warmer in VA for the past 2 weeks than it has here!

lms--sorry i knew this would cause a bit of heart ache. p-town misses you too. snow is so bittersweet. at least in la you will miss out on the eventual and inevitable seasonal affective disorder.

raven--i actually hadn’t seen that clip yet, but i heard that it was all over the news. i guess that was shot over by a big hill next to the “mac club”, you can’t tell how steep it is from the video, but there is quite an incline.

Lucky you - we've had nary a flake here (other than the new cat Hopper, who may be the biggest flake of all).
